About this talk

Every child has a unique personality. Understanding your child helps you teach more effectively and in a way your child can more easily thrive. Whether your child is an extrovert or introvert, Tigger, Rabbit, Eeyore, or Pooh in the land of Pooh, your child has strengths and weaknesses. Teach to the strengths for success and that includes how you set up their work area.

For example

The active, social oriented child wants to be near people while the perfect quiet child likes space and isolation.

The child who likes to be in charge is more self-motivated and wants to help plan the lessons.

The relaxed procrastinator avoids getting to work and needs more incentives to complete tasks.

The energetic child who bounces around needs to move and learns with more hands on activities
